Katy has worked in intellectual property for over 20 years, representing large global brands. Her vast experience, both in-house and in private practice, spans numerous sectors in all aspects of trade mark law. 

She has expertise in portfolio management including searching, filing and prosecuting trade mark applications, filing and defending oppositions, dealing with intellectual property transactions and providing strategic advice.

Katy has an impressive academic footing - she was awarded an MA in French and German from the University of Cambridge and is a qualified trade mark attorney.

​Katy worked for one of the world's leading beverage companies and managed a trade mark team at a city law firm before joining  GWW in 2011.
