LL.B. (Hons), LL.M., MCITMA Andrew is a Chartered UK Trade Mark Attorney with over 20 years’ experience. During his career, Andrew has worked both in-house and in private practice covering all aspects of trade mark and design law, which allows him to fully understand the commercial considerations from the client’s perspective. Andrew has vast experience in the searching, filing and prosecution of trade mark applications, as well as the filing and defending of opposition, invalidation and revocation actions. |
Andrew also provides strategic and portfolio advice, as well as advising on intellectual property transactions, such as co-existence and licence agreements. Andrew has also advised a number of Japanese Corporations in prosecuting, enforcing and defending their trade mark and design rights.
Andrew obtained an honours degree in Law from the University of Warwick, as well as a masters degree in Intellectual Property Law.
Before joining GWW in 2022, Andrew worked for one of the UK’s largest Intellectual Property firms, as well as working in-house for a large sportwear company and a multi-national tobacco company.
