Jackie Tolson MITMA

Jackie Tolson is a Registered Trade Mark Attorney and a Member of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.

Jackie has more than 15 years' experience in the field of trade marks. Jackie initially trained as a patent and trade mark search specialist, and soon began training as an attorney whilst working in Norwich. She qualified as a trade mark attorney in 2001 whilst working for Withers & Rogers in London and later spent a number of years as a member of the trade mark team at Potter Clarkson in Nottingham. Whilst Jackie’s undergraduate degree is in the sciences (Food Science) she now deals exclusively with trade marks and designs.

Jackie advises clients in relation to all aspects of trade mark protection, enforcement and exploitation, and has particular experience in trade mark clearance searching, prosecution of trade mark applications worldwide, and portfolio strategy and management.  She deals with a diverse range of clients in fields including the food, clothing, retail, financial services, telecommunications and security industries.
